3 DAYS KIDEPO SAFARI BY AIR
Tour Details
On this 3 Days Kidepo Safari by Air, you will discover the unmatched beauty of Kidepo Valley National Park, with its vast savannahs, rugged landscapes, and some of the best wildlife sightings in Uganda. From herds of buffalo and elephants to lions, giraffes, and the rare ostrich, every game drive is a photographer’s dream.
Day 1 Arrival and Evening Game Drive
Begin your journey with a charter flight from Entebbe or Kajjansi to Apoka Airstrip in Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge for a warm welcome and lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the golden savannah plains.
Look out for large herds of buffalo, giraffes, antelopes, and elephants as the sun sets over the rugged landscape. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Morning Safari & Karamojong Cultural Visit
After breakfast, set off for a morning game drive in the Narus Valley, where wildlife congregates around the river. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, ostriches, and a variety of bird species. After this thrilling adventure, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in a cultural encounter with the Karamojong community. Experience their vibrant dances, hear traditional stories, and learn about their semi-nomadic way of life. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3 Ik Visit & Return Flight
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to Mount Morungole for a visit to the Ik people, one of Uganda’s smallest and most unique indigenous communities. Perched high in the mountains, the Ik offers an intimate cultural experience filled with rich traditions, fascinating stories, and breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. After the visit, return to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to Apoka Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe or Kajjansi, arriving in the afternoon.
