1 DAY KAYNELA FARM TOUR

The day begins with an early drive out of Kampala, heading east along the Kampala – Gayaza – Kayunga Road. As the cityscape fades, the scenery opens up to green countryside, small trading centers, and farmland. The final stretch leads into a peaceful rural setting where Kaynela Farm is tucked away in a natural environment. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with an organic fresh fruit feast and juice to refresh from the drive.

The farm tour begins with a guided exploration of the organic crops grown on-site, fish ponds, and domestic animals including cows, goats, horses, donkeys, and rabbits. Guests have the opportunity to interact with the animals, learn about their care, and engage in daily farm activities. Lunch is a buffet featuring farm-to-plate organic Ugandan dishes, giving a delicious taste of local cuisine.

After lunch, guests can enjoy horse riding and quad biking. Additional activities, such as camel riding, swimming, and archery, are also available at personal expense. As the day concludes, guests are transferred back to Kampala, leaving with memories, photos, and sometimes fresh produce, having gained a deeper appreciation for Uganda’s agricultural heritage and the simple beauty of rural life.
